Paramedical Micropigmentation

The top choice in Puerto Vallarta for amazing, natural looking results.

Unlock your Confidence

Paramedical Micropigmentation is sometimes known as Medical makeup. Do you feel self-conscious due to scars or Alopecia? Perhaps you’re troubled by patches of pigment loss? I can help restore the confidence that you may have lost. Please note however: Permanent makeup is not ideal for covering darker coloured scars (brown, reddish, pinkish, etc.), age spots, stretch marks, or larger surgical scars such as breast reconstruction scars.

What can Paramedical Micropigmentation help with?

Depigmentation of skin

Micropigmentation is an ideal way to add colour to areas of skin where pigment is lacking. This will help give your skin a smoother look.

Burns and scars

If your burn has healed leaving scar tissue, Micropigmentation can be used to camouflage your scar and blend it into your surrounding natural skin tone. Once micropigmentation has been carried out, you’ll be amazed at how much more subtle and unnoticeable your scars will be. Please note- although micropigmentation is effective for smaller scars and burns, it is not suitable for larger scars such as surgical scarring and breast reconstruction scars. If you’re in any doubt at all, please contact me for a consultation.

Areola restoration

If you feel your nipples are irregularly shaped, disproportionate to your overall breast size or beginning to fade, Areola reconstruction can make you feel happy in your own skin and restore your femininity.

Laser ND - Yang

The top choice in Puerto Vallarta for amazing, natural looking results.

What is a laser ND - YANG.

The acronym ‘LASER’ stands for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. A laser works by emitting a wavelength of high energy light, which when focused on a certain skin condition creates heat and destroys diseased cells. Wavelength is measured in nanometres (nm).

Tatoo Removal

• Blue, grey and black tattoos can be removed with a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser
• The colour of the tattoo and the depth of the pigment influence the duration and the outcome of the laser treatment.
• Laser treatment involves the selective destruction of ink molecules that are then absorbed by macrophages and eliminated.

Pigmented lesions

Nd:YAG laser can be used to remove brown age spots (solar lentigines), Light pulses target melanin at variable depth on or in the skin.

Skin Resurfacing

Nd:YAG lasers have also be used to improve wrinkles in photo-aged skin.

Modern agents include preparations of retinoic acid, ascorbic acid alpha-hydroxy acids, and antioxidants used in conjunction with sunscreens. These treatments are useful for restoring and maintaining the health of the epidermis, but they generally are not effective for deeper, long-lasting rejuvenation. A more penetrating removal of the outer layers of aged and sun-damaged skin, such as with chemical peels, is required to induce reepithelialization and new collagen formation. Laser resurfacing was developed as an alternative to chemical peels to operate in these upper layers of the dermis, and its popularity increased quickly and enormously (see the image below).

How many laser treatments can I expect?

• The colour of the tattoo and the depth of the pigment influence the duration and the outcome of the laser treatment for tattoo removal.
• Multiple sessions (2 to 5 or 5 to 20 sessions) spaced at least 4 weeks apart may be required to attain favourable results.
